Stoke City secured an important and much-needed win against Watford on Saturday afternoon, courtesy of a lovely Darren Fletcher volley which will certainly ease some of the pressure on manager Mark Hughes.
EXCLUSIVE DREAM TEAM OFFER: BET £5, GET £20 FREE
But the biggest talking point from the match was undoubtedly the furious exchange between Hornets skipper Troy Deeney and Stoke’s Joe Allen.

Seriously, this is terrifying.
As the game neared full-time, Deeney and Allen came to blows as both players challenged for a loose ball.
Tempers quickly flared as the two squared up to each other (although Allen is noticeably smaller than Deeney, bless ‘im).
Deeney then grabs the Wales international by the face and seemingly starts to dig his thumbs into his skin, as teammates quickly attempt to break up the clash.
What’s most startling is the look on the Watford man’s face.
It’s pretty menacing.

Crikey, Troy.

Incredibly, Deeney escaped the exchange with just a yellow card from referee Michael Oliver.
Allen, too, received a booking.
After the match, Stoke manager Hughes weighed in on the incident, saying: “Deeney should know better.
“I’ve seen pictures of raised hands and thumbnails in faces. Totally unnecessary.”
Right you are, Sparky.

Cavani scores 2 as leader PSG coasts to 3-0 win against Nice
PARIS — Edinson Cavani continued his remarkable scoring form with two goals as unbeaten league leader Paris Saint-Germain beat lackluster Nice 3-0 on Friday. Brazil star Neymar was suspended after being sent off in last Sunday’s 2-2 draw away to Marseille. It made little difference, especially with Cavani further underlining his importance. Having netted a […]

Keita red card unfair, says Hasenhuttl
The 22-year-old was sent off in the second half before Bayern claimed a 5-4 win on penalties after a 1-1 DFB-Pokal draw at Red Bull Arena.
But Hasenhuttl felt Keita's red was unfair, with the midfielder – who will join Liverpool next season – having conceded five fouls, and been fouled as many times, the equal most of any player on the pitch.
"I think Naby Keita got two yellow cards for two fouls. In my opinion, Naby got a yellow card for every first foul," he said.
"Before he gets the first yellow he was fouled dozens of times.
"In these situations I miss the equality of rights, but that was not the decisive scene of the game."
Fuenlabrada vs Real Madrid
Fuenlabrada vs Real Madrid: Prediction
Even though the hosts have been enjoying a fine form at the start of the season in the third tier, the gulf in quality is still massive and we expect Madrid to ease past their opponents both on the night and over two legs.
The first bet is Real Madrid -2.5 handicap at the odds of 1.90.
You can also back the Over 1.5 goals in the first half bet at 1.72.
Benfica vs Feirense
Benfica vs Feirense: Prediction
The stand-out bet is Benfica to win to nil at the odds of 1.66, while you can also back their predator in the final third, Jonas, to score anytime at 1.53 odds.
The Brazilian forward already has 11 goals to his name in Primeira Liga and he should be able to add to this impressive tally in the home fixture with Feirense.
The first pick will be Benfica to win to nil at the odds of 1.66.
The second bet is Jonas to score anytime at the odds of 1.53.
Simeone pleased with Atletico debutants Gonzalez, Moya
Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone praised debutants Sergio Gonzalez and Antonio Moya after his side's Copa del Rey draw at Elche.
Thomas Partey put Atletico ahead in the first leg of the last-32 tie at Elche, but the hosts levelled through a second-half Lolo Pla penalty.
Gonzalez, 22, and Moya, 19, made their Atletico debuts as Simeone's side were held by third-tier opposition.
Simeone praised the pair for their displays, particularly given the situation.
"Sergi played very well and Toni Moya played calmly, even though the match was anything but calm because of the result," the Argentinian told a news conference.
"He played with personality and we like that."
Tenerife vs Espanyol
We see this as a very close tie where Tenerife’s huge opportunity will be to gain advantage in front of their fans.
The hosts will be super motivated to grab the victory here in the first leg and we’ll back them at the 2.40 as a sort of a longshot.
Tenerife vs Espanyol: Bet Tips
The main betting pick is Tenerife to win the match at the odds of 2.40.
The alternative option would be BTTS at 1.90.
Lleida Esportiu vs Real Sociedad
Lleida Esportiu vs Real Sociedad: Prediction
Sacristian will likely use the fixture with Lleida to mix up his lineup a bit. The hosts might well be able to take advantage of it and back up the tremendous attacking performance from the league outing.
We’ll be brave and back both teams to score at the odds of 19/20 here.
Lleida Esportiu vs Real Sociedad: Bet Tips
The first bet is BTTS at 1.95.
The value is in backing Real Sociedad to win & BTTS at 3.10.
Heynckes revels in ´extremely important´ win for Bayern
Jupp Heynckes did not play down Bayern Munich's penalty shoot-out win over 10-man RB Leipzig, hailing the DFB-Pokal victory as "extremely important" for the Bundesliga champions.
Bayern reached the last 16 of the DFB-Pokal thanks to a 5-4 win on penalties after Wednesday's clash finished 1-1 following extra time at Red Bull Arena.
There was plenty of drama during the 120 minutes as referee Felix Zwayer changed his mind in awarding Leipzig a first-half penalty before pointing to the spot in the second period – Emil Forsberg converting – having sent off Naby Keita for two yellow cards.
Thiago Alcantara equalised five minutes later to force extra time but penalties were needed and Bayern goalkeeper Sven Ulreich – filling in for injured number one Manuel Neuer – proved to be the hero after denying Timo Werner.
Arsenal owner Kroenke going nowhere, no regrets on Wenger
Kroenke and his son Josh will face Arsenal's annual general meeting on Thursday after a turbulent year at Emirates Stadium, during which long-serving manager Arsene Wenger was granted a two-year contract extension despite significant fan protests against his reign.
Kroenke Sr will face dissent at the AGM, with the Arsenal Supporters' Trust set to vote against the re-appointments of chairman Sir Chips Keswick and Josh Kroenke in a bid to show "significant corporate governance change is needed", but the 70-year-old told the Telegraph his family's 67 per cent shareholding is not on the table.
"Just go look at our history," said Kroenke Sr. "We get into these things to try to grow them .
"You don't see us selling things. You just don't. We are committed long term."
